Blessed with Music

From the beginning of my life there was music.  I was blessed to have parents who played music, and so it was natural to hear my mom and dad playing in the house.  We always had a piano and I would climb up on the bench to explore the keyboard.  Maybe it was because my parents were musicians that I was drawn to the beauty of music.  It was an essential part of life; I didn’t know anything else.  But I think there was also a magic, an unseen power that drew me to the piano and to singing.  As I grew, music remained a constant in my life.  When I was thirteen I had the opportunity to record my own CD for my eighth grade project at the Bay School.  It was one of the first musical experiences of my young life that ignited my passion for performing.  My time in the recording studio was thrilling, I never wanted it to end.  I was completely absorbed, riding that high of making music.
This blog and website is a small way in which I can continue to share my music and my journey with you.
